Project of Expansion and Modernization Project of the Aupaluk Oil Depot

FCNQ Petro plans to add two new tanks (#9 and #10), totalling 2,436,000 litres.
The current depot, which has a total capacity of 2,196,900 litres, would therefore be increased to 4,360,000 litres, which is almost double its current capacity.
Several modernization works are also planned:
– Hydrocarbons are currently stored in two tanks (tanks #1 and #2). Six tanks (tanks #3 to #8) are slated for dismantling.
– An additional dyke will be build and installed.
– A new pumping station and a new loading dock will also be built.
– Some electrical installations will be renovated.
– Pre-existing tanks (#1 and #2) will be cleaned, inspected and repaired, as required.
